Hell
THE DOCTRINE OF ETERNAL PUNISHMENT
One of Satan’s most successful deceptions is about Hell; she either convinces men that it does not exist or, that if it does exist, then men who are cast into Hell will be consumed in a moment and cease to exist.  Some, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses, believe that the wicked dead who ceased to exist when they died will be recreated by Yahweh at the Judgment and then be thrown into the lake of fire and consumed and cease to exist again.  Then there are those amazing few who believe that Yahweh is too good to allow any to be eternally lost and that somehow, down the road somewhere, sometime in the far distant future, Yahweh is going to restore all men and even Satan back to heaven in spite of their rebellion and the fact that they hate Yahweh and all his creation, not to mention the fact that if they were allowed back into Yahweh's perfect creation they would immediatly destroy it. The theory that man will be annihilated in the lake of fire is based on Thnetopsychism or "Mortal Soulism".  This error was introduced in 248 A.D. by certain errorists from Arabia.  (Eusibius' Ecclesiastical History, Page 253)  It assumes falsely that man is a soul and ceases to exist at death.  To refute this error the following scriptures will prove beyond any doubt that man is a spirit and not just a soul and that since he is a spirit he must exist somewhere for eternity:

In John 4:24 - Yahweh is a spirit.
In Gen. 1:26 - We find that Yahweh made man in His own image. (Spirit)
Zech. 12:1 - The Lord formeth the spirit of man within him.
Eccl. 11:5, "...you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child."
In Numbers 16:22 we read, “And they fell upon their faces, and said, O Yahweh, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?”      In Hebrews 12:9 we read, “Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?”
Also in Zechariah 12:1 which reads, “The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.”
In I Thess. 5:23 - We find that man consists of spirit, soul, and body.
How do we know that there is a spirit in man? Because the Bible tells us in Job 32:8, 18 “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding... “
And in Psalms 31:5 we read, “Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth”   This is explained in Ecclesiastes 12:7 which tells us, “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto Yahweh who gave it”
James 2:26 explains, “For as the body without the spirit is dead.”
Isaiah 26:9 also states, “With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” (Here it is obvious that soul and spirit are two different parts of a man. )
Isa. 29:24 - Man's understanding is in his spirit.
I Cor. 2:11 - Man’s knowledge is in his spirit
     Rom. 2:29 - A man's heart is his spirit.
Rom. 1:9 - I serve with my spirit
Mark 8:36-37- A man can lose or gain his soul.   Luke 21:19 - A man must possess his soul.
Hebrews 12:23 tells us, “To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to Yahweh the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.”
We read in 1 Peter 3:19 “By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.”
John 3:6, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
Romans 8:16, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Yahweh:”
In the above scriptures we find that man is unquestionably a spirit, and though his soul and body may perish or be destroyed in the lake of fire, man's spirit will live on.  Mark 9:44, 46, and 48 - The worm that dieth not (Isa. 41:14).
The following scriptures plainly show the existence of men's spirits apart from their bodies after death.
Luke 8:55. “And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.”
2 Cor. 5:1-10 - To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Phil. 1:20-24 - Paul desired to depart the flesh and to be with Yahweh.
2 Pet. 1:13-14 - Peter was going to put off his tabernacle.
Acts 7:59 - Steven said, "Lord (Yahshua), receive my spirit."
Psa. 90:10 - Men fly away at death.
Matt. 17:3 - The disciples saw Moses.
1 Sam. 28:11-19- Samuel appeared unto Saul.
In Matt. 11:11 -15- Yahshua Himself states that John is Elijah.
Rev. 20:10- The beast and the false prophet are men and are still alive in the lake of fire when Satan is cast in with them 1000 years later.

INTERIM STATE OF THE WICKED
The doctrine of purgatory or an intermediate place of fiery torment of the wicked dead is an invention of the Harlot Church and has no basis in scripture.  The wicked dead exist as disembodied spirits (2 Cor. 5:1-10) who roam the earth as demons, Matt. 12:43-45.  It is these unclothed or disembodied human spirits that we are forbidden to have any contact with.  Isa. 8:19; Lev. 20:6; 20:27; 19:31; Job 18:5-(18)-21; Acts 16:16-18.  When men die in rebellion against Yahweh, their spirits become the possession of Satan, who uses them to try to destroy the lives of Yahweh's people who are living on the earth.  Matt. 8:28-34; 11-12; Luke13:24-28.  The wicked dead meet their sins in the spirit realm and will continue under this punishment until the end of the millennium, when they shall be cast into the lake of fire, Rev. 20:14.
2 Pet. 2:9 - (Greek) The Lord knows how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the Day of Judgment.
Psa. 9:17 -  "...The wicked will return to sheol*, Even all the nations who forget Yahweh,” * Sheol = Hades, the world of the dead.
Rev. 20:14 - Hell = Hades, the unseen state of the dead.

THE FUTURE STATE OF THE WICKED
Isa. 33:14 -    (Hebrew) The sinners in Zion are afraid, saying, "Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings."
Zech.3:2 “And the Lord said unto Satan, the lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is this not a brand plucked out of the fire?”
Matt. 25:46 -   "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
     The same Greek word, "
AIONIOS" is used for both everlasting and eternal in this scripture.  This is Strong's word 166.  It means forever, eternal.   However long eternal life is, eternal punishment is the same length of time.  This word "AIONIOS" is used 71 times in the New Testament.  It is always used, without exception, to denote eternity, eternal, forever.  It is used 56 times to describe eternal life.  It is used 8 times to describe the punishment of the wicked.
     Matt.  18:8 - Eternal fire.
     Matt.  25:41 - Eternal fire.
     Jude 7  - Eternal fire.
     Matt. 25:46 - Eternal punishment.
     Heb. 6:2 - Eternal judgment.
     2 Thess. 1:9 - Eternal destruction.
     Mark 3:29 - Eternal damnation.
     Luke 16:9 - Eternal habitations.

We must mention those at this time who believe that all men and even Satan and his angels shall eventually be restored. They use an Interpretation of the word "
AIONIOS" which claims that it means an age or ages and not eternity; however it is easily proved to be wrong by simply reading all the scriptures that contain "AIONIOS" using their interpretation. IT WOULD  MEAN THAT HEAVEN ONLY LASTS FOR AN AGE AND IS NOT ETERNAL. Also see Isa. Chap.66.
In Rev. 19:20-20:10 - (In Greek) Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET ARE MEN AND THEY ARE STILL IN EXISTENCE after being in the lake of fire for 1000 years or they could not continue to be tormented along with Satan.
In Rev. 20:11-15, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Yahweh; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead, which were in it; and death and hell (Hades) delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell (Hades) were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death*.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
*(The first spiritual death was when men were cast out of Yahweh's presence for participating in Satan's original rebellion against Yahweh.  If death meant the cessation of existence, then there could not be a second death as we would not be in existence today.  The second death will be the destruction of the resurrected body and soul and the torment of eternal existence in the Lake of Fire as a disembodied spirit, being forever separated from Yahweh and the perfect universe with no chance of redemption.)
Rev. 14:9-11 - All men who worship the beast or take his mark will be tormented in fire and brimstone, the smoke of their torment will ascend up forever, and they will have no rest day or night. Are you currently participating in any form of Babylonian Religion?  Please believe me, it is counted as Satan worship!!!
In Isa. 66:22-24, we have a clear passage of the existence of Hell and of people on the New Earth being able to look into Hell forever to see those in punishment:  "They (all flesh on the New Earth) shall go forth, and
LOOK UPON the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for THEIR WORM SHALL NOT DIE, NIETHER SHALL THEIR FIRE BE QUENCHED; AND THEY SHALL BE AN ABHORRENCE UNTO ALL FLESH."   This proves that there is a Hell in the New Earth for eternity. This passage is quoted by Yahshua in Mark 9:42-48, proving that it refers to a Hell in the New Earth, and the lake of fire where all rebels will be cast after the Great White Throne Judgment.  Rev. 2:11; 19:20; 20:10-15; 21:8, Matt. 3:12.  Men are called worms in Job 25:6; Isa. 41:14.
     The "
WORMS OF HELL" obviously refers to the SPIRITS OF MEN that will never die or become unconscious.  These are revelations of Yahweh concerning a real Hell, regardless of men's theories to the contrary.  There is eternal torment and fire pictured in Hell by Isaiah, and men on the New Earth will be able to behold it as a monument of Yahweh's wrath against sin and rebellion forever.  Isa. 66:22-24; Rev. 14:9-11: 21:8.
Hell is located in the bowels of the earth as we see in the above scriptures Isa. 66: 22-24, also in Amos. 9:2, we find, “Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to HEAVEN, thence will I bring them down:”
Prov. 9:10 - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..."
Jude 22-23 - "And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire:.."
Phil. 2:12 - "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
2 Cor. 7:1- "...perfecting Holiness in the fear of God."

WHAT EARLY CHRISTIANS BELIEVED ABOUT ETERNAL PUNISHMENT

110 AD, Ignatius of Antioch "Corrupters of families will not inherit the kingdom of (Yahweh.) And if they who do these things according to the flesh suffer death. How much more if a man corrupt by evil teaching the faith of (Yahshua).  A man become so foul will depart into unquenchable fire: and so will anyone who listens to him" (Letter to the Ephesians 16:1-2).
150 AD, Second Clement "If we do the will of (Yahshua), we shall obtain rest; but if not, if we neglect his commandments, nothing will rescue us from eternal punishment" (Second Clement 5:5).
150 AD, Second Clement "But when they see how those who have sinned and who have denied (Yahshua teaching's) by their words or by their deeds are punished with terrible torture in unquenchable fire, the righteous, who have done good, and who have endured tortures and have hated the luxuries of life, will give glory to their God saying, 'There shall be hope for him that has served (Yahweh) with all his heart!'" (Second Clement, 17:7).
150 AD, Justin Martyr "No more is it possible for the evildoer, the avaricious, and the treacherous to hide from (yahweh) than it is for the virtuous. Every man will receive the eternal punishment or reward which his actions deserve. Indeed, if all men recognized this, no one would choose evil even for a short time, knowing that he would incur the eternal sentence of fire. On the contrary, he would take every means to control himself and to adorn himself in virtue, so that he might obtain the good gifts of (Yahweh) and escape the punishments" (First Apology 12).
150 AD, Justin Martyr "We have been taught that only they may aim at immortality who have lived a holy and virtuous life near to (Yahweh). We believe that they who live wickedly and do not repent will be punished in everlasting fire" (First Apology, 21).
150 AD, Justin Martyr "(Yahshua) shall come from the heavens in glory with his angelic host, when he shall raise the bodies of all the men who ever lived. Then he will clothe the worthy in immortality; but the wicked, clothed in eternal sensibility, he will commit to the eternal fire, along with the evil demons" (First Apology, 52).
177 AD, Athenagoras "[W]e [Christians] are persuaded that when we are removed from this present life we shall live another life, better than the present one . . . Then we shall abide near (Y’shua) and with (Yahweh), changeless and free from suffering in the soul . . . or if we fall with the rest [of mankind], a worse one and in fire; for (Yahweh) has not made us as sheep or beasts of burden, a mere incidental work, that we should perish and be annihilated" (Plea for the Christians 31).
181 AD, Theophilus of Antioch "Give studious attention to the prophetic writings [the Bible] and they will lead you on a clearer path to escape the eternal punishments and to obtain the eternal good things of (Yahweh). (Yahshua) will examine everything and will judge justly, granting recompense to each according to merit. To those who seek immortality by the patient exercise of good works, he will give everlasting life, joy, peace, rest, and all good things.. For the unbelievers and for the contemptuous, and for those who do not submit to the truth but assent to iniquity, when they have been involved in adulteries, and fornications, and homosexualities, and avarice, and in lawless idolatries, there will be wrath and indignation, tribulation and anguish; and in the end, such men as these will be detained in everlasting fire" (To Autolycus 1:14).
189 AD, Irenaeus of Lyons "(Yahshua will) send the spiritual forces of wickedness, and the angels who transgressed and became apostates, and the impious, unjust, lawless, and blasphemous among men into everlasting fire" (Against Heresies 1:10:1).
189 AD, Irenaeus of Lyons "The penalty increases for those who do not believe the Word of (Yahshua) and despise his coming ... [It] is not merely temporal, but eternal. To whomsoever the Lord shall say, 'Depart from me, accursed ones, into the everlasting fire,' they will be damned forever" (Against Heresies, 4:28:2).
197 AD, Tertullian "After the present age is ended he will judge his worshipers for a reward of eternal life and the godless for a fire equally perpetual and unending" (Apology 18:3).
212 AD, Hippolytus "Standing before (Yah'shua's) judgment, all of them, men, angels, and demons, crying out in one voice, shall say: 'Just is your judgment!' And the righteousness of that cry will be apparent in the recompense made to each. To those who have done well, everlasting enjoyment shall be given; while to the lovers of evil shall be given eternal punishment. The unquenchable and unending fire awaits these latter, and a certain fiery worm which does not die and which does not waste the body but continually bursts forth from the body with unceasing pain. No sleep will give them rest; no night will soothe them; no death will deliver them from punishment; no appeal of interceding friends will profit them" (Against the Greeks 3).
226 AD, Minucius Felix "I am not ignorant of the fact that many, in the consciousness of what they deserve, would rather hope than actually believe that there is nothing for them after death. They would prefer to be annihilated rather than be restored for punishment . . .. Nor is there either measure nor end to these torments. That clever fire burns the limbs and restores them wears them away and yet sustains them, just as fiery thunderbolts strike bodies but do not consume them" (Octavius 34:12-5:3).
252 AD, Cyprian of Carthage "An ever-burning Gehenna and the punishment of being devoured by living flames will consume the condemned; nor will thee be any way in which the tormented can ever have respite or be at an end. Souls along with their bodies will be preserved for suffering in unlimited agonies . . .. The grief at punishment will then be without the fruit of repentance; weeping will be useless, and prayer ineffectual. Too late will they believe in eternal punishment, who would not believe in eternal life" (To Demetrian 24).
252 AD, Cyprian of Carthage "Oh, what a day that will be, and how great when it comes, dearest brethren! When the Lord ... [will] cast into hell evildoers and will condemn our persecutors to the eternal fire and to punishing flame!" (Letters 58:10).
350 AD, Cyril of Jerusalem "We shall be raised therefore, all with our bodies eternal, but not all with bodies alike: for if a man is righteous, he will receive a heavenly body, that he may be able worthily to hold converse with Angels; but if a man is a sinner, he shall receive an eternal body, fitted to endure the penalties of sins, that he may burn eternally in fire, nor ever be consumed. And righteously will God assign this portion to either company; for we do nothing without the body. We blaspheme with the mouth, and with the mouth we pray. With the body we commit fornication, and with the body we keep chastity. With the hand we rob, and by the hand we bestow alms; and the rest in like manner. Since then the body has been our minister in all things, it shall also share with us in the future the fruits of the past" (Catechetical Lectures 18:19).

That there is an eternal hell is, to my mind, an absolute truth.
The only rational position for created beings is that of total obedience to their creator: a lack of   obedience to their creator will only end in their destruction.  Yahweh created mankind as spirit beings with free moral agency. Men were created for a purpose. Yahweh calls men to his divine purpose in their life and if they rebel against him and fail to find or fulfill their purpose then what can be done with them? They have become waste and of no value in the universe, therefore there remains no place for them among Yahweh's perfect creation and they must be cast out. Since they are spirit, and thus eternal, they must be placed in a permanent captivity away from Yahweh and Yahshua forever.
