| SACRED NAME - MESSIANIC MOVEMENT | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| You may have noticed that we use the sacred names in our writings; however, we are no part of the Sacred Name - Messianic movement. While many in this movement have rejected modern Christianity, they have gone back to Pseudo-Judaism and the Torah, seeking perfection through the Old Covenant , rather than following the teachings of Yahshua. While it is obvious the Babylonian Religionists have replaced the true Messiah, Yahshua, with their god-man redeemer Jesus and many of their pagan myths and rituals, this does not annul the real New Covenant nor the teachings of the real Messiah. We must remember that Moses (in type the law) did not bring Israel into the promised land, Joshua (in type the Messiah, Yahshua) brought Yahweh's people home into the promised land (in type the Kingdom of God). Jer. 31:31-33, " Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Heb. 7:11-25, "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. FOR THE LAW MADE NOTHING PERFECT, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto Yahweh. And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) By so much was Yahshua made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto Yahweh by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." John 1:17. "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Yahshua." Did not Yahshua say when he came that no man had ascended unto Heaven? Obviously, the old covenant was not sufficient to get anyone into Heaven. See John 3:13. The rich young ruler kept the law and yet was not qualified for eternal life, as he yet needed to obey Yahshua and give his riches to the poor. Matt. 19:16-22, "And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, Yahweh: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Yahshua said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Yahshua said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions." 1Cor. 13:10, " But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." Heb. 5:9 " And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;" If we will attain to the Heavenly calling, we must obey the teachings of Yahshua: neither Moses' Law nor Babylon Religion will suffice. |
