THE TRUTH ABOUT        CHRISTMAS
    THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

ON WHAT DAY WAS YESHUA BORN?
While much of the world celebrates the birth of Yeshua  on the 25th of December, can the actual day of Yeshua’s' birth be determined from scripture? This question will be explored in some detail, and will yield a result that is quite amazing. The first passage we will consider begins with the father of John the Baptist, Zacharias.
Luke 1:5, “There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth."
Luke 1:8, “And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before Yahweh in the order of his course.””
Luke 1:23-24, “And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived,"
The clue given to us here is that Zacharias was of the "course" of Abia.

THE 24 COURSES OF THE TEMPLE PRIESTHOOD
King David on Yahweh’s instructions (1 Chr. 28:11-13) had divided the sons of Aaron into 24 groups (1 Chr. 24:1-4), to setup a schedule by which the Temple of Yahweh could be staffed with priests all year round in an orderly manner. After the 24 groups of priests were established, lots were drawn to determine the sequence in which each group would serve in the Temple. (1 Chr 24: 7-19). That sequence is as follows:  1Chr 24:7 I. Jehoiarib, 2. Jedaiah. lChr.24:8 3. Harim, 4Seorim. lChr.24:9 5 .Malchijah, 6. Mijamin. lChr.24:10 7. Hakkoz, 8. Abijah. lChr.24:11 9. Jeshuah, 10.Shecaniah. lChr.24:12 11. Eliashib, 12. Jakim. lChr.24:13 13. Huppah, 14.Jeshebeab. lChr.24:14 15. Bilgah, 16. Immer. lChr.24:15 17. Hezir, 18. Aphses. lChr.24:16 19.Pethahiah, 20.Jehezekel. lChr.24:17 21. Jachim, 22. Gamul. lChr.24:18; 23. Delaiah, 24. Maaziah.
1 Chron. 24:19, "These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of Yahweh, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the God of Israel had commanded him. "
Now each one of the 24 "courses" of priests would begin and end their service in the Temple on the Sabbath, a tour of duty being for one week (2 Chr. 23:8, I Chr. 9:25). On three occasions during the year, all the men of Israel were required to travel to Jerusalem for festivals of the Lord, so on those occasions all the priests would be needed in the Temple to accommodate the crowds. Those three festivals were Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, and Tabernacles (Deut 16:16).

THE YEARLY CYCLE OF SERVICE IN THE TEMPLE
The Jewish calendar begins in the spring, during the month of Nisan, so the first "course" of priests  would be that of the family of Jehoiarib, who would serve for seven days. The second week would then be the responsibility of the family of Jedaiah. The third week would be the feast of Unleavened Bread, and all priests would be present for service. Then the schedule would resume with the third course of priests, the family of Harim. By this plan, when the 24th course was completed, the general cycle of courses would repeat. This schedule would cover 51 weeks or 357 days, enough for the lunar Jewish calendar (about 354 days). So, in a period of a year, each group of priests would serve in the Temple twice on their scheduled course, in addition to the 3 major festivals, for a total of about five weeks of duty.

THE CONCEPTION OF JOHN THE BAPTIST
Now back to Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist.
Luke 1:23-24, "And it came to pass, that, that as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived,” Beginning with the first month, Nisan, in the spring (March-April), the schedule of the priest's courses would result with Zacharias serving during the 10th week of the year. This is because he was a member of the course of Abia (Abijah), the 8th course, and both the Feast of Unleavened Bread (1521 Nisan) and Pentecost (6 Sivan) would have occurred before his scheduled duty. This places Zacharias' administration in the Temple as beginning on the second Sabbath of the third month, Sivan (May-June) having completed his Temple service on the third Sabbath of Sivan, Zacharias returned home and soon conceived his son John. So John the Baptist was probably conceived shortly after the third Sabbath of the month of Sivan.

THE CONCEPTION OF YESHUA, THE SON OF YAHWEH AND THE SON OF MAN
Now the reason that the information about John is important is because according to Luke, Yeshua was conceived in the sixth month of Elisabeth's pregnancy:
Luke 1 :24-27, "And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, Thus hath Yahweh dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from Yahweh unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a young woman espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and her name was Mary."
Luke 1:36, "And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren."
Now working from the information about John's conception late in the third month, Sivan, and advancing six months, we arrive late in the 9th month of Kislev (Nov-Dec) for the time frame for the conception of Yeshua. It is notable here that the first day of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, is celebrated on the 25th day of Kislev, and Yeshua is called the light of the world (John 8:12, 9:5, 12:46). This does not appear to be a mere coincidence. In the book of John, Hanukkah is called the Feast of Dedication (John 10:22). Hanukkah is an eight-day festival, celebrating the relighting of the menorah in the rededicated Temple.

THE BIRTH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST
Based on a conception shortly after the third Sabbath of the month of Sivan, projecting forward an average term of about 10 lunar months (40 weeks), we arrive in the month of Nisan. It would appear that John the Baptist may have been born in the middle of the month, which would coincide with Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is interesting to note, that even today, it is customary for the Jews to set out a special goblet of wine during the Passover Seder meal, in anticipation of the arrival of Elijah that week, which is based on the prophecy of Malachi:
Malachi 4: 5, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."
Yeshua identified John as the "Elijah" that the Jews had expected:
Matt. 17:10-13, "And his disciples asked him, saying, why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Yeshua answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist."
The angel that appeared to Zacharias in the temple also indicated that John would be the expected "Elias”:
Luke 1: 1 7, "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
So then, the Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the 15th day of the first month, Nisan, and this is a very likely date for the birth of John the Baptist, the expected "EIijah".

THE BIRTH OF YESHUA
Since Yeshua was conceived six months after John the Baptist, and we have established a likely date for John's birth, we need only move six months farther down the Jewish calendar to arrive at a likely date for the birth of Yeshua. From the 15th day of the first. month, Nisan, we go to the 15th day of the 7th month, Tishri. And what do we find on that date? It is the festival of Tabernacles! The 15th day of Tishri begins the third and last festival of the year to which all the men of Israel were to gather in Jerusalem for Temple services. (Lev 23:34).
John 1: 14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
The word in the Hebrew for dwelt is succah and the name of the Feast of Tabernacles in Hebrew is Sukkot, a festival of rejoicing and celebration:
Luke 2:7, "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”
Why was there no room at the inn? Bethlehem is only about 5 miles from Jerusalem, and all the men of Israel had come to attend the festival of Tabernacles as required by the Law of Moses. Pilgrims would have already taken every room for miles around Jerusalem, so all that Mary and Joseph could find for shelter was a stable.
Also of note is the fact that the Feast of Tabernacles is an eight-day feast (Lev 23:36, 39). Why eight days? It may be because an infant was dedicated to Yahweh by performing circumcision on the eighth day after birth:
Luke 2:21, "And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Yeshua, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb,"
So the infant Yeshua would have been circumcised on the eighth and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, a Sabbath day. The Jews today consider this a separate festival from Tabernacles, and they call it Shemini Atzeret.

IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE ABOVE REASONING, WHICH IS BASED ON THE SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE, A VERY STRONG CASE CAN BE MADE THAT YESHUA WAS BORN ON THE 15TH DAY OF THE MONTH OF TISHRI, ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES, WHICH CORRESPONDS TO THE SEPTEMBER OCTOBER TIME FRAME OF OUR PRESENT CALENDAR!

IT SEEMS MORE THAN A LITTLE STRANGE THAT EVERY IMPORTANT EVENT IN THE LIFE OF YESHUA OCCURRED ON A JEWISH FEAST DAY EXCEPT HIS BIRTH, WHICH, ACCORDING TO THE CATHOLICS, OCCURRED ON A PAGAN HIGH DAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE WINTER SOLSTICE AND THE BIRTH OF TAMMUZ, THE FALSE MESSIAH.

"The first recorded instance of a Christmas celebration was in the third century and not until the fourth century was far advanced did it gain much observance. How, then, did the Catholic Church fix on December the 25th as Christmas day? Long before the fourth century, and long before the Christian era itself, a festival was celebrated among the heathen, at that precise time of the year, in honor of the birth of the son of the Babylonian queen of heaven (Tammuz); and it may fairly be presumed that, in order to conciliate the heathen, and to swell the number of the nominal adherents of Christianity, the same festival was adopted by the Roman Church, giving it only the name of Christmas...
"The 'Christmas goose' and 'Yule cakes' were essential articles in the worship of the Babylonian Messiah, as that worship was practiced both in Egypt and at Rome. "Wilkinson, in reference to Egypt, shows that 'the favorite offering' of Osiris was 'a goose,' and moreover, that the' goose could not be eaten except in the depth of winter. There can be no doubt, then, that the Pagan festival at the winter solstice - in other words, Christmas - was held in honor of the birth of the Babylonian Messiah.
"The consideration of the next great festival in the Popish calendar gives the very strongest confirmation to what has now been said. That festival, called Lady-day is celebrated at Rome on the 25th of March, in alleged commemoration of the miraculous conception of our Lord in the womb of the Virgin. Before our Lord was either conceived or born, that very day now set down in the Popish calendar for the 'Annunciation of the Virgin' was observed in Pagan Rome in honor of Cybele, the Mother of the Babylonian Messiah. Now, it is manifest that Lady Day and Christmas Day stand in intimate relation to one another. Between the 25th of March and the 25th of December there are exactly nine months. If, then, the false Messiah was conceived in March and born in December, can any one for a moment believe that the conception and birth of the true Messiah can have so exactly synchronized, not only to the month, but to the day? The thing is incredible. Lady-day and Christmas-day, then, are purely Babylonian."
Hislop's Two Babylons, pp. 91-93,101-103
"Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church As late as 245 Origen (horn. Viii on Leviticus) repudiated the idea of keeping the birthday of Christ, 'as if he were a king Pharaoh'.
"Clement of Alexandria (c. 200)  Christmas customs are an evolution from times that long antedated the Christian period - a descent from seasonal, pagan, religious and national practices, hedged about with legend and-tradition…"
"It is generally believed that the first Christmas tree was of German origin dating from Boniface, English missionary to Germany in the 8th century, who replaced the sacrifices to Odin's sacred oak by a fir tree adorned in tribute to the Christ child. Accounts persist that Martin Luther introduced the tree lighted with candles…"

It was illegal to celebrate the Christmas festival in America until the late 17th century.
Need I mention that multiplied millions of people who will have nothing to do with Yeshua or His people are at the same time obsessed with Christmas? This celebration is the host to more adultery, and drunkenness, and partying, and credit buying, than any other holiday. To those who insist that the celebration of Christmas is done to honor Yeshua  and not the Babylon Messiah, I would refer to Rev. 18:2-5, where it is stated that those who share in Babylon’s sins shall share in Babylon's plagues! Also see Chron. 13:10; Lev. 10:1-2, where Aaron's 2 sons were destroyed for false worship.
In Mark 7:6-7, "He answered and said them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines commandments of men" Also in Gal. 4:10-11, “Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour vain."

IN NO SCRIPTURE ARE WE TOLD TO CELEBRATE CHRIST'S BIRTH.
The only time the whole world gives gifts one to another in the bible is when the Beast kills the two prophets of God in Rev. 11:3-12.

DID YOU KNOW THE ACTUAL MEANING OF THE WORD "CHRISTMAS" IS CHRIST DEATH? Does "merry Christ death" ring right in your spirit?
The name SANTA is a slight misspelling of the name SATAN, which is common in the mystery religions. Hence we have children everywhere praying to SANTA (SATAN) for goodies on the False Messiah's birthday.

I THINK THAT ANY HONEST HEART, WHO HAS ANY FEAR OF GOD AT ALL, WOULD HAVE TO AT LEAST QUESTION THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THIS PURELY BABYLONIAN HOLIDAY, AS ALL WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE BABYLON HARLOT RELIGIONS ARE SOON TO BE DESTROYED BY YAHWEH.

REVELATION 18:1-24, 19:1-3,
"1. And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5. F or her sins have reached unto heaven, and Yahweh hath remembered her iniquities.
6. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10. Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour is thy judgment come.
11. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12. The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13. And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16. And saying, alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17. For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18. And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, what city is like unto this great city!
19. And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! For in one hour is she made desolate.
20. Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for Yahweh hath avenged you on her.
21. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23. And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth;
FOR BY THY SORCERIES WERE ALL NATIONS DECEIVED.
24. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

A large number of retailers in this country and others depend on The Pagan Holidays especially Christmas to make a profit each year and without the Holidays many would go bankrupt.

Rev. 19:1-3, "1. And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God. 2. For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever”.

IN ADDITION, IF YOU DO NOT SEE ANY PROBLEM WITH CHRISTMAS TREES, YOU MIGHT WANT TO READ THE FOLLOWING.
Jeremiah 10:1-4, "1. Hear ye the word which Yahweh speaketh unto you, 0 house of Israel:   2. Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers that it move not."
The actual origin of the Christmas tree was after Yahweh sent Shem to kill Nimrod because he had taught men to reject Yahweh and follow his new Babylonian false religion. Shem cut Nimrods body into pieces and sent the pieces all over the ancient world to prove that he was dead. Semiramis was only able to recover his phal’lus, which she memorialized by setting up obelisks in many places. This is also the origin of the steeple on Babylonian Churches today. Ask your Pastor what scripture his steeple comes from.
When Semiramis was found to be expecting out of wedlock, she concocted the story that the baby {Tammuz} was actually Nimrod reincarnated, and that the sign of this miracle was the miraculous appearance of an evergreen tree in her yard overnight. Hence the story of the father incarnate as the son. So we find that the evergreen tree is associated with the birth of the False Messiah Tammuz, not Yeshua the True Messiah.

THE ONLY RATIONAL CONCLUSION IS THAT THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE IN THESE OBVIOUSLY PAGAN PRACTICES, WHICH ARE ACTUALLY SATAN WORSHIP, ARE CHRISTIAN IN NAME ONLY, AND AS SUCH THEY SHALL EVENTUALLY SUFFER THE WRATH OF YAHWEH FOR THEIR TROUBLE.
Rev. 18: 2, 4. "2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
     4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
